The 6’3 Clark guard has committed to Feather River College to continue his basketball career. He is the third Las Vegas native to commit to the Golden Eagles, and he should bring some length and versatility to their squad. While at Clark, Gebremeskel was a playmaker on both sides of the court. Knocking down shots from the outside and causing turnovers on defense. It will be exciting to see how he keeps developing these next couple of years.

Previously ranked in the 60’s, Gebremeskel had put together a season that warranted more than a slight jump in the rankings. He is a well rounded 6’3 guard that did a little bit of everything for Clark this season. On offense, he drained shots from the outside and also had some success in the paint. On defense, his length and height helped him disrupt shots. He also averaged over 1 steal a game.

both threw down dunks with some authority and it seemed as though an upset could be brewing. But Sierra Vista built a 22 point lead in the 3rd. Gebremeskel never stopped competing though and had some late offense for Clark. He hit a 3 in the 4th quarter, and then went on a little 4-0 run by himself. However the lead that Sierra Vista had built was just too big to overcome.

The sharpshooter for Clark, was impressive when I saw him during the Wild West Shootout. He enters as one of the highest ranked New Additions, coming in as a top 60 player.

Thought Gebremeskel was one of the type of Glue Guy who’s togetherness comes on the offensive end. When he’s making threes, Clark is a much different team. In addition to his outside shooting, his was effective playing every position in the Chargers zone defenses.
