Michael and his younger brother, Sam, will be in attendance this weekend and it should be a nice opportunity for updated evals on both prospects. Michael caught my attention with the high motor and intensity that he brought for Boys’ Latin back in June when they played in the EBA Pre-Live Warmup. While the guards tend to dominate the ball in these sort of settings, it’s the players like Michael who will pursue any 50/50 ball, take pride in his individual defense and take advantage of the opportunities that come his way offensively who have a great chance of leaving a lasting impression.

Eysasu has shown to be one of the more fiery competitors on this list and it shows with his willingness on the glass, consistently coming up for 50/50s and playing through contact on drives to the cup. He’s a valuable role guy who should provide a spark for Boys’ Latin within their rotation, but is capable of doing more than the dirty work. Eyasu has also shown some ability to attack closeouts and convert 1-to-2 dribble pull-ups with nice efficiency. As a sophomore for the Lakers, he’ll look to earn his stripes however head coach Dom Milburn needs him to depending on the game and many times, those players are ones who can swing momentum in favor for their respective teams.
