Our updated 2029 rankings are now live and as we usually do following a release, there will be plenty of content flowing on the list of prospect in the coming days. Considering this class will only be heading into their sophomore seasons, this order could fluctuate quite a bit over the next two years. For now though, we are reacting off strong freshman campaigns and performances that we've seen this spring and summer to help compile a list. I began coverage looking at movement within our top 10 and now, it's time to shift focus to the stock risers within the top 100.

I alluded to this in my top-10 write up, but Tchoubfong is a unique prospect in this pool of players with his blend of size, strength and skill. He can create space to get his shot off seemingly whenever he needs to and while the efficiency aspect could use some work, the manner is which he goes about his business looks more like a rising senior than a rising sophomore. His showing throughout DMV Live where he averaged 16.6PPG, 7.4RPG and 1.3APG gives you an idea of his ability as he steps into a primary role for Good Counsel this season.

Williams was also included in my top 10 article and was one of the biggest risers in the latest update as he jumped from No. 49 to No. 10. The reason for the jump? Williams was a killer this spring/summer leading Boo Williams 15s in scoring at 16.9PPG while hauling in 7.2RPG and showed that he's more than prepared to take on one of the lead roles for Walter Johnson after averaging 26.1PPG and 8.2RPG in Capitol Hoops Summer League play. He possesses great positional size as a combo guard who can spend time at the wing if needed. He has a long wingspan and a nose for getting to his spots where he display soft touch on his jumper, creative finishes on lay-ups and has always been a spot-up threat from the corners.

Wheeler is a quick-twitch southpaw point guard who puts immense pressure on the defense with his ability to knife his way into the paint. He brings pace, patience and thorough floor vision as a playmaker and what he lacks in size, he makes up for with IQ and feel. If the game calls for him to take on more of an aggressive scoring role, Wheeler is more than capable of drilling shots from beyond the arc both off the catch or off the bounce. In order for Concordia Prep to reach their potential this winter, he'll need to control the game from the point of attack at both ends. We've seen him take on the challenge successfully in spring/summer play, but will be monitoring him closely this fall and early winter to see if he takes the next step. For now, we're betting on his feel and dynamism as an orchestrator.

Eysasu has shown to be one of the more fiery competitors on this list and it shows with his willingness on the glass, consistently coming up for 50/50s and playing through contact on drives to the cup. He's a valuable role guy who should provide a spark for Boys' Latin within their rotation, but is capable of doing more than the dirty work. Eyasu has also shown some ability to attack closeouts and convert 1-to-2 dribble pull-ups with nice efficiency. As a sophomore for the Lakers, he'll look to earn his stripes however head coach Dom Milburn needs him to depending on the game and many times, those players are ones who can swing momentum in favor for their respective teams.

Russell is a prospect who can continue to quickly climb up this list. He has a relentless competitive motor, a strong frame that allows him to slide between multiple positions and a budding offensive skillset. At this point, he's a physical downhill guard/wing that can use his body to create separation or angles for looks around the rim. He's also shown some soft touch on pull-ups in the mid-range area. In an open floor setting, Russell can surprise you with how quickly he gets up for finished over the rim. With the 6'4" rising sophomore, it all comes down to consistency and continuing to polish his overall decision making.
