Max Van Laningham | 6’8 Forward | Woodcreek | Team Lillard

Max Van Laningham brings a blend of athleticism and toughness to the floor. At 6’8”, he’s an excellent athlete with a high motor, quick off his feet and capable of rising over defenders in a hurry. He’s physical enough to bang with players his size while also using his agility to outmaneuver bigger opponents.

In the paint, Van Laningham carves out space effectively and consistently rebounds at a high level. Offensively, he scores with a variety of finishes around the rim and has a soft touch that extends to the perimeter, making him a versatile inside-out scoring threat. His energy and impact on both ends makes him a player to watch as he continues to develop.
