Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Liked the way Kellogg reads a reacts to the game on the fly. He effortlessly made plays for his teammates and frequently found them in all the right spots to connect on scoring chances. He can play either guard spot. Kellogg rebounded the ball and can push it up the floor in transition. He showed some flashes as a scorer.

Kellogg did a nice job connecting with teammates for scoring chances. He touched the paint and his frame allows him to take contact well. He scored from behind the arc. Kellogg made a few trips to the foul line. I like how he was finding ways to rebound. Kellogg plays with a good deal of toughness.

+35 (#98 to #63)
Kellogg, a guard out of the Williston Northampton School in Massachusetts, rose 35 spots in this update and now sits at #63 overall. Kellogg continues to show a high level feel for the game and the ability to score the basketball in a variety of ways. He plays somewhat of a herky-jerky style offensively, but it allows him to both create space and to go by defenders off the bounce. He finishes over size at the rim, makes shots from behind the arc, and delivers passes on time and on target to his teammates in scoring positions.

Kellogg impressed with his shooting touch converting a handful of shots from behind the arc. He also did a nice job navigating downhill on the attack. He has nice size at the guard spot and isn’t afraid to bully smaller guards. Kellogg also shows the ability to make others better and has a great understanding of the game. He is a prospect who should be on scholarship coaches radars.

Read EvaluationWill Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Kellogg, a high basketball IQ scoring guard, made his name known at a first-year at Williston Northampton. A long and lean scorer, Kellogg does a great job of utilizing his length to create seperation. He’s confident with the ball in his hands and does a good job of changing direction off the bounce. Off the ball, he does a good job of continuing to move and utilize screens and does his work early to get his feet set. On the defensive end of the floor, he’s often in the right spot at the right time, and thus, creates a lot of turnovers and deflections. He should have a bigger role this winter and could solidify himself as one of the top combo guards in New England.
