Defalco, who recently finished a post-grad year at the Salisbury School, came off the board when he announced his commitment to Lake Forest College. A high IQ lead guard, Defalco simply put, just knows how to play. He always has his eyes up the floor, can really push the ball in transition, and has impressive floor vision and passing instincts in the half court. He’s a consistent perimeter shooter and is crafty with his dribble, consistently getting a piece of the paint. Defensively, he’s always in the right position, isn’t afraid to mix it up, and is quick to fill the help side rotations drawing a fair amount of charges. He should be a nice match for Lake Forest as they play in the uptempo Midwest Conference where his skills as a true floor general should shine.
