Devontae Cobb | Prep Hoops Scout
A constant threat from beyond the arc, White consistently knocked down spot-up three-pointers. He displayed a strong understanding of floor spacing, instinctively positioning himself to receive the ball in rhythm. Thriving off kick-outs and ball rotations, he was a trusted option whenever his lead guards were in control of the offense.

White plays with a lot energy and does all the dirty work on the court. He spaces the floor well on offense and has the ability to hit threes. Attacks the basket with good composure and can hit the open man off of drive and kicks. Has a good touch around the basket and cuts well to the basket. He’s scrappy on defense often causing turnovers. He also has quick hands and feet when guarding on the perimeter.

has been a key piece for Denton Guyer all year. His production may vary based on how hot or cold his teammates are and being able to turn on the switch like that gives me a Chris Paul type of vibe. Physical guard with a high IG and excellence vision and awareness of his teammates. He just makes everyone better on the floor but can score at will when needed. He shoots a good percentage from deep but is more impressive finishing through contact at the rim. Mason is also a lockdown defender, he just forces you to work all game which eventually wears out most of his opponents by half time. Look for Mason to have a big summer moving into senior year at Guyer.

began his season with an impressive 16-point performance. He played a crucial role in starting and finishing fastbreaks, keeping the game in a chokehold from beginning to end. His defensive approach was marked by aggressiveness in the passing lanes, where White effectively employed his length and active hands to deflect passes or force steals and turnovers. As an acrobatic finisher, Mason looked to draw contact while driving to the rim often managing to finish through it, displaying nice touch and concentration to complete the shot off the glass.
