Whipp is someone who made a strong impression on me this summer in a few separate events playing with Georgetown Prep. He’s not going to overwhelm you athletically, but he’s super productive as a connective piece within head coach Howard Blue’s offense. At 6’5″-6’6″ with a physical frame, Whipp does an effective job clearing out space to collect rebounds in bulk. He has spatial awareness and makes timely cuts playing off his guards who like to get into the paint and break down the defense. He even has ability to space the floor even more with his three-point shot, specifically from the corners. He averaged 11.8PPG and 7.5RPG in DMV Live S1 and will be a great complementary piece in the frontcourt next to Majok Aguek Majok Aguek 7'0" | C Georgetown Prep | 2028 State MD .

Whipp is a physically imposing forward who consistently used his size and strength to overwhelm smaller defenders throughout the live period. He embraced contact on the offensive end, bullying his way into the paint and earning frequent trips to the foul line, where he capitalized on free scoring opportunities. On the glass, Whipp was relentless, putting himself in excellent position to secure rebounds and create extra possessions for his team. He always seemed to have a nose for the basketball, whether tracking down loose balls or controlling the paint with his physical presence. His combination of toughness, rebounding instincts, and interior scoring makes him a difficult matchup and a player capable of impacting winning in multiple ways.
