11/22/25: Last spring was a tough time for Mason Tidwell Mason Tidwell 6'4" | SG Loretto (baseball) | 2026 State TN . He tried his best to help Loretto on a postseason run. Unfortunately, Tidwell was recovering from a significant ankle injury. Through the pain, and not at all 100% healthy, Mason started at the end of the season and helped Loretto capture the 2A State Championship. The Mustangs, always a strong outfit, graduated a tremendous bunch of dudes. The timing for Tidwell’s re-emergence could not be better. Thursday evening Mason beat the buzzer and lifted LHS over Smith County in the process.
