Mason Hitchcock Mason Hitchcock 6'5" | SF Orchard Lake St Mary's | 2027 MI gave Rise Elite a strong forward presence. He showed good activity and gave his team size and toughness in the frontcourt. Hitchcock looked comfortable competing inside and gave Rise Elite a player who could help on the glass and around the rim.

Hitchcock just quite simply had a tremendous junior season. He’s an elite all around athlete and a dual sport star. In fact, he recently received his second football offer from Northern Illinois. You can definitely see that Hitchcock has a pretty rare combination of power and ease of movement.

Hitchcock was incredibly impressive at the camp. He scored relatively easily with his back to the basket. Impressive? Yes. But even more impressive was the fact that he recognized the mismatch and attacked it repeatedly. Hitchcock kept finding space and open looks, eventually leading to 8 high percentage points in a short time.

All word is that Hitchcock has been really solid so far this June. He’s a strong player with a next level frame and is a multi sport prospect. Hitchcock has shown the ability to get down the floor with control and either attack the defense before they’re set or just flat out beat them back. He’s been a solid finisher that has gotten high percentage looks at the rim.
