His left-handed jumper was deadly accurate, even when defenders were draped over him, making him a tough cover from deep. Carlino also plays with impressive upper body strength and hang time, allowing him to drive past aggressive closeouts and finish in traffic amongst the trees. Carlino’s knack for absorbing contact and still converting through taller defenders showed not only his body control but also his determination to finish strong at the rim.
