Mareng is a 6’7 small forward who flashed his high potential against Hoop City. I hadn’t seen him play in a couple of years, and he looks like a much more confident shooter from beyond the arc, as well as an improved ball handler. On multiple occasions he was able to beat opposing wings off the dribble to get to the rim and finish. Defensively he can move his feet with smaller wings, and was a shot blocking threat inside with his long and explosive frame. Has been running with Minnesota Falcons this spring.
