There are freshmen who play as if they are veterans and veterans who play as if they are the stereotypical freshmen. Long is a veteran who plays like a veteran. As accurate as he is with his 3-point shot, one can tell it has been an emphasis of his game over the years. Long stands at 6-foot-2 and can throw defenses for a loop as they are unsure as to if he will attempt a long jumper or penetrate to the rim. His finishes at the basket can be creative or emphatic as well. While he may currently play at Carolina International, his high school career also included a stint playing at 3A Ashbrook.

Long is a name we’ve known at PrepHoops for a while, and turned into another consistent, solid outing this weekend. He’s a capable combo guard that can knock down shots from the perimeter and looks to consistently contribute on the offensive end during games. Good size as well for being a guard, standing at 6’2 and with some notable size and strength on his frame. He should have a big senior year at Carolina International this upcoming season.

Long is a prospect from the Western region of the state out of Ashbrook High who’s shown off an ability to operate in the backcourt. He’s due to break out into a bigger role heading into his senior season in 2023-24. Look for him to play with a ton of energy as a paint-touching guard who’s capable of shooting the ball.

Was one of the better facilitators and on-ball defenders that we saw at camp, making plays consistently by doing many of the things that often get overlooked. His passing ability was one of his best attributes at camp, he made good reads and put teammates in position to score high percentage shots. On the defensive side of the ball, he was constantly applying pressure and using his good lateral quickness to beat opponents to spots.
