Townsend’s activity level on both ends of the floor separates him from most. He attacks rebounds and is a versatile defender who can guard multiple spots on the floor. I like how well Townsend attacks on offense with a diverse attack. He is willing to do the dirty work for offensive rebounds but also has the skill to make plays off the bounce on the wing and can also shoot the three. Makari stuffs the stat sheet nightly. Townsend should become a popular name with D-I programs if he isn’t already.

Townsend is an impressive tweener whose versatility immediately stands out. Comfortable playing inside or out, he attacks effectively from the wing, creates off the bounce, and knocks down the three at a steady clip. He’s particularly tough around the rim, using body control and touch to finish through traffic. Townsend moves smoothly when changing speeds and directions, which makes him difficult to stay in front of. Defensively, his positional flexibility and switchability give him real value, projecting as a multi-positional defender who can impact both ends of the floor.

13.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 blocks Impressive tweener can play inside and out. Attacks from the wing, able to make plays off the bounce and is a steady three-point shooter. Really tough around the rim as he can glide to the hoop and finish in traffic. Smooth fluid movement when changing direction and speeds. Holds tremendous switchability on defense.
