How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My name is Madyx Ulmer and I’m a 5’10 guard who can play any 5 positions and maximize my talent at each position. I play with a smooth pace that controls the flow of the game and I use my high IQ to know the right play, whether it’s getting to my shot or creating for my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a well known player in the Anderson/Greenville/Pickens counties of South Carolina for having my own type of game that gets everyone involved while getting mine. You can tell a difference when i’m on and off the court and when i’m off the court, my voice is heard.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At my previous school, I was a part of the Beta Club, an ambassador for the school, and on the Principal's Academic Honor roll year around.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm a leader on and off the court, I make my presence heard, making everybody work harder and compete to a new level. I'm a community person so I go to all events in my community to get to know people and increase my viewership and my support.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, my biggest one recently was making the choice to either stay in school with all my friends or come home to my city and bring spark back to their basketball program and that's what I did and what I plan to do in the not too distant future.

What type of college are you looking for?

Of course I want to play division 1 basketball but if any other collegiate level program reaches out to me on behalf of a scholarship, I'm willing to take it. I want to stay close to South Carolina so my family and my mom can either drive or fly back and forth to make it to my games.
