About Luke

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is very defensive. I focus on rebounding and getting defensive stops. On offense I focus on movement, setting off ball screens, cutting, and sealing to move the offense efficiently.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I hustle. If there’s a loose ball I’m in the floor no matter what. I always give my all in everything I do no matter if it’s basketball or not. When I step on the court I plan to give everything I have and step off knowing that.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in my schools band. I am in 4H and I am a 2 time state grand champion and 4 time county grand champion in electricity. I received scholarships to play at EIU in their summer band program. I am also a lifeguard at my local pool.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

One of the most important skills I have developed is the ability to learn. I have developed this from my time playing basketball. I have made a lot of mistakes in my basketball career and have been able to turn them into lessons and learn from them. This has made me a better person and player.
