About Luke

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a floor general who likes to push the pace but use change of speed and direction to throw defenses off. I can score at all 3 levels but really like to shoot from the outside or get to the lane for quick pull ups or floaters and getting the ball to scorers. Defensively I am high energy and really like to pressure the ball and get into passing lanes for deflections and steals.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very relaxed, level headed and poised. I don't get too high or too low and just let my game speak for itself. I do a lot of talking on the floor but it's only communication with my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Future Farmers of America.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills and have gain a lot of community service by doing projects throughout my community. I am involved with feeding the homeless, local youth missions, community wide trash clean-up and helping the elderly.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This past season I broke my hand and had to work hard at recovery and rehab but was able to fully heal and come back to play towards the end of the season.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to have a chance at a higher level DI school but I am realistic and understand with the landscape of recruiting and the transfer portal that NAIA, JUCO or even D2 would be great options.
