Adding to the deep front court is East Burke transfer Lincoln Burnes Lincoln Burnes 6'7" | PF Hibriten | 2029 NC . Standing at 6’7, he’ll bring a true interior presence to the Panthers. Lincoln averaged around 8 points and 5 rebounds while being an efficient 52% from the field. He does most of his damage on the interior but can stretch the floor to help spacing. The IQ that Lincoln plays with is extremely valuable for a Panthers team that has a ton of firepower. Passing out of the post and making the extra pass is something he does very well.

As good as Lincoln will be for the Panthers on offense, his defensive impact will be greater. The five rebounds per game as a freshman will likely double in this system. His motor and activity on the glass are consistent on both ends of the floor. The shot blocking numbers aren’t eye popping but Lincoln is a rim protecting presence that should push for two blocks per game. This won’t include the amount of shot altering possessions he’ll have also. This two-way presence is indeed one of the best additions in the 828.
