If you were to look up Elan’s name online, you won’t find a ton of basketball talk. Why? Well, he’s one of the top dual threat quarterbacks in the region and just so happens to play basketball on the side. Not only did he break multiple football school records last year, but he was a pivotal piece in the Panthers turnaround on the court. In true quarterback fashion, his playmaking is the superior skill. Nearly averaging five assists per game tells the story of just how special of a playmaker Elan is.

When he’s not creating for others, his ability to get to the mid-range and the rim is excellent. Don’t let the quarterback mantra fool you, Elan gets downhill and seeks contact while finishing with either hand. He averaged just under 11 points per game, including a 30-point explosion (and game winner) in the first round of the playoffs. It doesn’t stop there as he also excelled as one of the best defenders on the team. Averaging nearly 2.5 steals per game and being able to lock down opposing guards is just as impressive as his offensive production.
