Henaghen, a wing out of the St. Paul’s School, made a statement with his ability to consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. The St. Paul’s junior has good positional size at 6’5″, with long arms that help him on the defensive end of the floor. He looks more confident with the ball in his hands and really impressed with his off-ball movement. His shot is clean and repeatable and he is letting them go confidently and quickly off the catch. He left this event as a clear stock riser that should only continue to get better in the coming months.

Henaghen, a member of BBN’s 17U squad, is a shot making wing out of St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire. A vastly improved prospect over the last 12 months, he’s playing the best basketball of his young career right now. At 6’5″, he has great size on the perimeter and seems to have added some strength to his frame. He makes shots in catch and shoot situations, does a nice job of moving without the basketball, particularly when it comes to using screens, and can put the ball on the floor as a straight line driver. Defensively, he can guard up a position and has the length needed to eventually develop into a high level wing defender. Reclassing should allow him more time to continue adding strength while adjusting to a higher level of play, ultimately leading to higher recruitment.

A long and lean prospect from Maine, Henaghen’s top attribute right now is his versatility. Offensively, he can do a little bit of everything from handling against pressure to making shots from the perimeter to creating in the half-court. Defensively, he guards up and down the lineup and really showcases good instincts for where he needs to be within a team’s scheme. He has great length, good timing, and isn’t afraid to mix it up on the glass. He’ll be an interesting prospect to track as he continues to mature phyiscally.
