On an incredibly talented Ohio Buckets squad, Goran plays a nice role as a floor spacing shooter who brings toughness and a high feel for the game. I liked how Goran lets the game come to him with the Ohio Buckets , letting some of the higher usage guys make plays and is always ready to knock down an open perimeter shot or make a cut to the rim. After a monster junior season with Keystone, it’s always an adjustment for small town players to get into the grassroots season sharing the court with other elite talent against much taller, more athletic and physical opposition as well and Goran held his own out there. I’d expect scholarship programs from across the midwest to watch Goran this summer with the Ohio Buckets .

In a weird game that saw Goran foul out in the third quarter, Goran was still one of the most impressive players I saw all day. An elite perimeter shooter, Goran hit some deep shots off DHO’s and running off elevator screen actions. I also was impressed by Keystone’s set on the first play of the game, getting a backdoor cut layup for Goran. Keystone plays a physical brand of basketball and won’t turn down the intensity no matter the opponent or way the game is being officiated and Goran’s performance on Tuesday is a perfect example of that.

Goran who can play on or off the basketball is a natural scorer with a high level feel for the game and great instincts. Kent State, William & Mary, American, Lafayette, Mercyhurst and division two Malone contacted the rising junior. Do not let the remoteness of Goran’s school fool you, the kid can flat out play and believe he should be a priority for high academic division ones in the Ivy and Patriot league.

The lone OHSAA member to crack this list, Goran is a prospect who I heard really good things about during his sophomore season. Unable to catch a Keystone game, I had to wait until the spring to watch Goran with his Ohio Buckets 16 U squad. Another high feel prospect who can flat out get a bucket, Goran uses unique pace, patience and shot-making ability to be a tough cover for defenses. While Goran has impressed as a bench piece for his Ohio Buckets squad, I also definitely want to see him with his high school program to see how he handles being the featured scoring option. Based on his absurd stats and 20-3 record he led the Wildcats to last season, I’m assuming I’ll be similarly impressed.
