Elliott certainly left his mark at the Freshman Showcase. I love when players let their defense do the talking at showcase events and that’s just what he did. Elliott picked up stop after stop on that end of the floor. He was just simply willing to outwork you with his perimeter defense. Elliott defended off screens really well. He didn’t get screened easily and always seemed to find his way through them with quickness.
