About Leland

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe by play style as a defensive leader and very versatile on the offensive side since I can play on or off the ball because of my shooting and slashing ability

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My teammates would say, off the court I’m kinda the guy everyone gets along with, very cheerful and, playful but on the court very serious but helping out my teammates not yelling at them but getting them on track

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

The only one I can think of at the moment is National Jr Honor Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I mean I feel as things like that came naturally to me even at a young age but I definitely worked on my work ethic after 6th grade year it hit a different level

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Injury’s would be the first thing that comes to mind, just trying to stay positive and help out as much as I can since I’m not able to play

What type of college are you looking for?

I mean I would want the top schools like Duke, UConn or Texas but I really just want the school that’s willing to take a chance on me with a good coaching staff and good education.

Leland Harris Leland Harris 6'0" | PG Dr.Henry A. Wise | 2028 State MD is an aggressive scoring guard who will officially step onto the high school scene this month with Wise, although he made noise all summer before the 2024-25 season. He’s quick and shifty with the ball and never lacks confidence in terms of finding and taking his shots. Clear to see the pop in his game. Intense energy on both ends with the ability to catch heat offensively. Has a chance to finish as a top guard in his class in 2028, if not already.
