Landon Short Landon Short 6'2" | SG Stony Point | 2025 State TX showed a beautiful jump shot off the catch from beyond the arc, particularly in transition, where he became absolutely dangerous as he trailed behind, positioning himself perfectly for a potential kick-out pass. He graciously hopped into the catch with rhythm, effortlessly elevating and releasing in a singular fluid motion. His shooting form was smooth and consistent, making him a reliable threat from long range.

6’2 2025 Landon Short Landon Short 6'2" | SG Stony Point | 2025 State TX had himself quite the holiday break as #2 Stony Point got some strong matchups and possible playoff previews. Landon was absolutely tough in every matchup showing some elite consistency programs at the next level should be looking for. Notably, he went for 5 triples in a matchup with #1 Plano East to keep Stony Point close. His shot is pro, very quick release that looks very Steph Curry like and I haven’t really seen another shooter in Texas that gets the ball out this quick. Landon seems to be a gamer and lives for these moments delivering time after time when needed. Make sure he’s high up on your radar he’ll be a steal for someone at the next level.

6’1 2025 Landon Short Landon Short 6'2" | SG Stony Point | 2025 State TX was a huge impact player that wowed everyone Saturday at the Hoopfest with his shooting abilities and big time play making. He finished with 22 points and knocked down 5 triples in a impressive Stony Point win over Millennium. What what most impressive was the timing of all his shots, they seem to be at the biggest moments when Stony needed a spark to catch up or push their lead and create a gap. He was most efficient off the catch and shoot situation and there’s not much you can do once he gets going. Landon is a huge X factor for a talented Stony Point squad and you should have him on your radar for the season if you know what’s best.
