Another high academic prospect, Grundy is a wing with good size, length and a versatile offensive skill set. He is a three level scorer who can create his own offense off the bounce and make shots from the perimeter. Grundy also competes defensively and has the physical tools to impact the game at both ends of the floor.

Landon is an off-guard with touch in the in-between game. The midrange is the first thing that caught my eye in how he impacts the game offensively.  He showed that he could settle into the middle of the floor and make a controlled shot, instead of over dribbling like many of his peers. He does a good job not allowing defenders to speed him into tough attempts. He has size that could be a two-way factor once the season gets going.

Grundy continues to trend upward in the 2027 class as a notable stock riser. The high-academic wing brings good positional size and is highly effective in the midrange, where he consistently finds scoring opportunities. An All-District selection for Hillgrove this season, Grundy also stands out on the defensive end, using his length and effort to impact the game, making him a well rounded prospect on the rise.

Grundy is a reliable two-way wing with the versatility to play four positions, giving coaches lineup flexibility. He’s efficient in his offensive approach, particularly on the perimeter where he consistently knocks down jumpers and shows some wiggle attacking off the bounce. Grundy doesn’t force the action and understands his role, which leads to steady production. Defensively, his physical tools allow him to hold his own across multiple matchups. A high-academic prospect with an impressive frame and skill foundation, Grundy brings value on both ends and continues to trend upward as he polishes his game.

If there is one member of the junior class that has helped himself as a prospect more than anyone else this season, it is Grundy. The 6’4 wing has size, skill, athleticism and three level scoring ability. He can create his own shot in the midrange, is a capable shot maker from three and is athletic enough to finish above the rim. Mid-low major programs, including high academic schools, should be taking notice.

One of the state’s fastest rising 2027 prospects, Grundy was continued his strong junior season campaign with 11 points in a win over Paideia. The 6’4 wing was excellent in the midrange and uses his length to be an asset on the defensive end. To go along with his achievements on the court, Grundy is a strong student in the classroom and will be a popular name with college coaches over the next 12 months.
