Shackleton was one of the more physical interior presences at the showcase, playing with a motor that consistently showed up on the glass and defensively. He battled for position, absorbed contact and used his strong frame to make the paint a difficult place to operate. His length and active arms bothered drivers and forced opponents into tough finishes or altered looks. He also showed good instincts away from the ball, setting solid screens and running the floor hard. Shackleton’s toughness and defensive presence made him a difficult matchup throughout the day
