Orji was one of the first players to pop on Day 2, and it starts with his physical presence. He looks the part immediately, but what separates him is how skilled he is with that size. He can stretch the floor, put it on the deck, and attack downhill. He’s an aggressive wing who plays through contact and produces across the board. We were already high on him, and he only strengthened that with his showing at Boomtown at the Spring Kickoff.

Orji has carved out a meaningful role of late for 9–4 Jefferson Academy, giving them a reliable presence in the frontcourt. At 6’3”, he uses his length well to create space and separation on the block, making him tough to guard in one on one situations. He does solid work on the glass, rebounds his area and brings consistent effort on the defensive end. Orji also shows good hands around the rim, finishing plays and converting tough catches into points. His physicality and willingness to do the dirty work add balance to Jefferson Academy’s lineup, and his continued growth gives them another dependable option as they push deeper into the season

Orji has shown he can dominate his age group whenever he’s on the floor. He’s a physical forward with size and a polished interior game. What I like about Orji is how he uses his strength and footwork to control the paint and rebound in bunches, even those that go out of his area. He protects the rim, runs the floor, and finishes through contact, and that will be on display all season as he will be relied upon to be one of the top players in the conference. Expect Orji to take on a major varsity role at Jefferson Academy and post strong numbers this upcoming season. He makes a long-awaited push for the list.
