Expert Analysis
Brantley Green | Prep Hoops Scout
Kingston must have really liked the rims over at P7 this weekend. He hit 4 3’s in the first half of his first game and carried that momentum the rest of the weekend with Hoop City. When he started getting chased off the 3pt line, he was able to get in the lane and finish at the rim or knock down the midrange jumper. He handled the ball well against pressure and is a really good defender and rebounder with his size and length.

Kingston has made one of the clearest jumps in this update thanks to his shooting and overall polish on the wing. He’s become a reliable perimeter threat who spaces the floor, hits tough shots, and plays with a smooth, confident rhythm. His blend of size and shot‑making has taken a noticeable step forward, pushing him firmly into riser territory inside the Top 30.

Rottinghaus enters the rankings from Tennessee as a long, athletic forward with clear upside. He rebounds, runs the floor, and shows flashes as a developing scorer who can hit shots from all 3 levels. As his handle and aggression grow, he becomes a versatile piece with room to rise quickly in future updates.

Shows flashes of advanced offensive ability. He’s comfortable operating in the mid-post, attacking off the dribble, and finishing with touch around the rim. His mechanics hint at a reliable perimeter shot, which could make him a versatile scoring threat. His combination of size and athleticism suggests long-term growth, especially as he refines his fundamentals and expands his skill set.

7/26/25: Strong legs though Kingston does not play above the rim. His game reminds of Adam Morrison (Gonzaga). Scores in a variety of ways. Better court vision than Morrison had. Might be a shooting guard if his teammates were taller. Most of Fairley’s squad is sub 6′.
