Knowlton’s poise and stat sheet stuffing versatility earned him tournament MVP honors with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. He attacked off the dribble, knocked down perimeter shots, and set the tone defensively. His ability to lead in high-pressure moments solidifies his reputation as one of Arkansas’ premier guards to track.

Knowlton showcased scoring efficiency and composure under pressure, finishing with 23 points and converting 7 of 8 free throws and throwing it down with a dunk. His ability to attack downhill, absorb contact, and still produce at the stripe reflects a skill set that translates well to higher levels. Beyond scoring, his confidence and consistency make him a reliable option in late-game situations.

His confidence as a creator has steadily expanded. His defense is fueled by energy while his shot creation continues to expand. He’s a wing with upside that fits modern systems.

His off-ball movement popped, relocating to corners after driving kicks or cutting baseline when defenders turned their heads. He played with a quiet flame, letting his game do the loud talking. He’s growing as a playmaker and a consistent deep threat, which is something I look forward to seeing this upcoming season.

BJ has shown efficiency over the past weekend in handling the ball and scoring in bunches from the outside to the inside. He initiated contact on drives to bump and change pace or direction before getting to space and scoring. He hit shots from all 3 levels with consistency and defended with intensity and strength, stopping drives and slowing fast breaks. He defends the perimeter with pride, looking to get deflections or poke the ball loose, before running the break, scoring, or finding the outlet.

BJ Knowlton BJ Knowlton 6'3" | SG/PG Jonesboro | 2026 State AR has been a go-to player for Jonesboro throughout the season. With several of his teammates going cold against the Tigers, he was called to step up and score.

The junior recorded a team-high 13 points last night, being the lone Hurricane player to find much success on offense. He hit a 3-point shot early in the game, but most of his scoring came from drives to the paint and his efficiency from the free throw line.

Knowlton was consistent at the line, not missing a shot and even making 6 straight at one point. The guard recognized how whistle-happy this game was and exploited that.
