Expert Analysis
Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
Miller recently put his skills on display at the Paul Corsaro Unsigned Showcase which took place on Sunday at the University of Indianapolis. The 6’0″ point guard is an excellent playmaker that finished his four-year career at Southport as a 1,000 point scorer. He has a strong frame, handles the ball at a high level, and score it efficiently off of the bounce as well. Division III and NAIA schools have been involved for some time now, but he is still open in terms of his recruitment. Small college programs that need a point guard should be on him at this point.

Miller is a very talented playmaker who wrapped up an outstanding four year career at Southport. The 6’0″ point guard averaged 11.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game as a senior. Now, he is playing with George Hill All Indy Unsigned this spring and already put up a big weekend a RecruitLook event last weekend in Chicago. Any small college program still in need of a point guard should start here.

- Ranked as the #38 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Wilmington and IU-South Bend.
- This dynamic, playmaking point guard had an excellent summer with George Hill All Indy that really helped make a name for himself. Miller has a tight handle, displays good court vision, and can get to the rim with quick straight-line drives. Likes to push the tempo. Would be a really high level Division III prospect and certainly deserves scholarship money from some NAIA’s.

Another point guard that really burst onto the scene this summer playing with George Hill All Indy 2023. Miller is a talented playmaker who can make any pass, finishes well at the end of his drives, and likes to push the pace in transition. He made a massive jump in the Prep Hoops Indiana prospect rankings from #78 to #38 overall. Look for Southport to be a tough out for teams in the Indianapolis area this season and Miller will be a big reason why.
