About KeWan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast and aggressive.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want to win, i love to getting all my teammates involved and hyping them up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with Black Achievers and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I also attend a local church and do mission trips with my family.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a hard work ethic since joining out high school team. Our team is only as strong as the weakest link so i push my teammates to work out in the off season so we all come back stronger.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been diagnosed with ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism. Sometimes it takes me a little longer to learn a new play or defense strategy but i make up for it with my energy and aggressiveness when in the game. My attention can slip in practice when it is not structured but i am learning coping skills to get my focus back quick. My brother and teammates help me stay accountable as well.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm not looking for a certain college but more at the coach and players that i would be joining. Someone that can coach me with my disabilities and players that will accept me. Both pushing me to work harder not only on the court but in the classroom as well.
