Yard’s progression over the years has been quiet and steady, but there was nothing quiet about his Saturday evening performance for the Aces. The senior wing guard was absolutely on fire, connecting on a flurry of jumpers from beyond the arc while showcasing a smooth and repeatable catch-and-shoot stroke. He plays a clean, high-IQ complementary game as a crisp passer and emerging option as a secondary ballhandler. Yard is also continuing to blossom physically and athletically, opening up some intriguing upside particularly with his plan to take a post-grad year after finishing up at LM.
