Massey made quite the impression on us during the EBA Pre-Live Warmup as he looked primed to play a big role for New Town in Baltimore County as a senior. Another tough-nosed guard like Bates above, Massey is prepared to step into an involved role for the Titans as a needed secondary playmaker on the perimeter and a guy who can pose as a legitimate three-level scoring threat off the catch. Not only can he knock down three’s with space, Massey can also get to his spots in minimal dribbles or resort to straight-line drives where he has the pop to finish above the rim with some authority. New Town should be considered serious, if not the clear favorites in Baltimore County and looking beyond at a competitive Class 3A field of teams, they should have a great chance of making a run as MPSSAA Tournament play rolls around. Massey will be a big piece of that puzzle.
