He is a capable three-point shooter who can knock down open looks when defenses fail to close out. Hargrove also has a knack for tiptoeing his way into the lane, where he can finish around the basket with touch and creativity. His quickness stands out, as he can blaze past defenders when they lose focus or give him a step. He is also a threat without the ball in his hands, using his instincts and timing to generate scoring opportunities as a backdoor cutter. As he continues to develop, adding strength and weight to his frame should help him become even more effective.
