Murray’s quick-twitch scoring ability was on full display throughout the game I watched. He has the ability to heat up in a hurry and score in bunches, making him a constant offensive threat whenever the ball is in his hands. His aggressive attacking style led to multiple trips to the foul line, where he added to his scoring output. Defensively, Murray showcased outstanding anticipation, jumping passing lanes and intercepting passes like a cornerback before turning defense into offense. With his scoring punch, athleticism, and ability to create extra possessions on the defensive end, Murray is a prospect who should continue to gain traction with small college programs.

Murray is a crafty guard who possesses an excellent feel for the game and consistently demonstrates a great pulse for finding teammates in a variety of spots on the floor.  His vision and passing ability stand out, particularly his willingness and ability to deliver bounce passes in traffic and within the flow of the offense. Murray also showed that he can create offense for himself when needed. He is capable of scoring off the bounce and does a good job utilizing ball screens in the half-court to get to his spots, collapse the defense, and make plays. His patience coming off screens and understanding of how to manipulate defenders help him consistently put pressure on opposing defenses. He is pesky on that end of the floor, using active hands and strong anticipation to come up with steals.
