Fernandes might be one of the most skilled players in the region regardless of class. It’s rare to see someone as comfortable with the ball in his hands as the rising freshman at Trinity Catholic. He has every single dribble move in his bag, can shoot it from three, finishes effectively with both hands, and has excellent passing vision. Height and strength will continue to be the limiting factor for Fernandes, who’s only 5-foot-5 and slender, but if the physical tools ever catch up, he’s going to be extremely dangerous. Keep an eye on him this season.
