Huber Heights Wayne had some tough battles with some of the top teams in attendance and even despite missing some rotation players because their football program is still in the OHSAA playoffs, the Warriors battled and showed impressive fight throughout the day. Post shot the ball at an extremely high percentage and is at his best with his feet set. When Post is making shots he’s usually carrying that momentum into other facets of the game and I’m hoping to see that consistently from him as a senior leader this winter.

Post had some of the loudest buckets I saw all day with a powerful dunk, turnaround jumper and a couple strong drives in a game I caught. Natural ability is not an issue for Post as he displays impressive athletic tools and can do a variety of things offensively. If Post can find consistency with his play on both ends of the floor, he’ll be one of the most impactful players in the GWOC this season.

A prospect we’ve featured a couple times at different team camp and live period events with Huber Heights Wayne, Post is a prospect who just keeps getting better and more productive when I watch him play. He intrigued me last year with the flashes he showed offensively at his size and now he’s making those plays more consistently and having a better overall impact on both ends of the court. Expect scholarship programs to start to familiarize themselves with Post during the summer.

Huber Heights Wayne played a really fun game against Taylor County that went down to the wire, Post impressed me the most on Wayne as his game has gone to another level over the past six months. An impressive mover for his size, Post can defend on the perimeter and make shots on the perimeter. A prospect who is currently trending upwards and continues to impress, I don’t think it’ll be long until college programs start really taking notice of his abilities.
