Orchestrated the offense with poise, taking care of the basketball and making quality decisions every time it was in his hands. His quick first step allowed him to get into the paint with ease, where he finished at the rim or delivered timely passes to open teammates once the defense rotated. He complemented his playmaking by scoring efficiently from the perimeter and the mid-range, comfortably knocking down pull-up jumpers and threes.

Justin had a stellar showing at Section 7 and proved he is a next level point guard. Justin sees the game a few steps ahead of every one else on the court. He slices through the defense with his elite handle and speed making him a very hard guard. Justin gets to is spots where he is most effective and scores efficiently. He likes to get to his spots in the midrange and rise up to hit beautiful jumpers. When getting to the bucket he uses his footwork and pump fakes to get defenders to swing at his shot and then move the ball and finish else where. He has amazing vision and pace to his game allowing him to keep defenders on there toes.

Justin Kimbrough is a shifty guard who uses his change-of-direction skills to shake defenders. I like how twitchy he is, and he has a nice jumper that he can get to. He also gets paint touches to open up scoring opportunities for his forwards. And he was getting after it on defense as well. Expect him to continue to be a difference maker for the Soldiers.

Pg 1 controlled the tempo and applied constant pressure as a primary ball handler throughout the game, consistently getting downhill and putting the defense on its heels. He used strong pace changes to create advantages in both transition and the half court, finishing through contact with confidence around the rim. On the defensive end, he was a true pest — applying ball pressure, jumping passing lanes, and forcing turnovers throughout the game. His two-way impact fueled MP’s energy and helped swing momentum on multiple possessions.

Justin set the tone and pace for the Pride. Justin came out showing off his vision by throwing no look dimes on the break and in the half court. He would set the offense and keep his squad calm and under control. Justin would only score when needed and looked like a seasoned point guard. His on ball defense was smothering and he got his hands on a lot of balls. Justin Finished with 8 points, 8 assist, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.
