Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
A senior guard and Penn State Behrend commit, Rottmann closed out his high school career with a bang, erupting for 28 points in an impressive two-way display despite the loss. Rottmann shook loose in the first half for 20 points, knocking down six 3’s while showcasing his deadeye release from deep beyond the arc off the catch. He made quick decisions within the structure of the offense but was aggressive looking for his own when appropriate, showing some skill off the bounce and as a finisher around the rim. Despite his slender frame, Rottmann was able to play through some contact and use his length to get in the mix in the floor game. He’s tracking as a steal at the small-college level with his well-rounded game.

‘s abilities in the way he scores as a true catch-and-shoot threat with range, quick mechanics, and the confidence to make big ones when momentum is swinging. However, he has become more dynamic this season as defenders are trying their best to not allow him any space to get a shot off. To counter, Rottmann has shown speed to rip baseline, get into the paint, and finish through contact. Add in the intangibles like smart movement without the ball, playing under control, and not making mistakes with the ball in his hands, and it’s easy to see why he has commitment to continue his career at Penn State Behrend.
