A versatile, high-motor prospect, Johnson consistently affects winning with his ability to score, defend, rebound, and make plays for others. He plays with physicality and purpose. He uses his strength and length to guard multiple positions. He is effective attacking downhill or finishing around the rim.

Offensively, Johnson is comfortable scoring within the flow of the game. He doesn’t need high usage to be productive. However, when called upon, he can create mismatches with his size and athleticism. Defensively, his versatility stands out. He takes pride in guarding the opposing team’s best forward. He rebounds at a high rate. Additionally, he does the gritty work that doesn’t always show up in the box score. As he continues to develop and polish his perimeter game, Johnson’s two-way value is evident. His versatility makes him a prospect that college coaches should track closely heading into spring and summer.
