How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Josiah is known for his elite court vision and passing ability, having set a school record with 10 assists in back-to-back games—totaling 20 assists against Carrboro and South Granville.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Josiah is plays with a team-first mentality, emphasizing ball movement, defensive hustle, and leadership.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I'm a Jr Staff at the Salvation Army Bull City Youth Center as well as 2 time checkers tournament champion.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong qualities in leadership, teamwork and community service since high school. Playing early as a freshman point guard ahs taught me skills in leadership and teamwork.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, transferring into a new school and just learning how to play a different style of basketball than i grew up playing. Also having to adapt to the new learning style from teachers. It has really helped me process information and learn independently so far.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a school that has my major as well as a program that makes me feel welcomed that will develop me as I transition into a young adult.
