He is a BIG, strong, tough, old-school type of post. Josh has great hands, impressive footwork, and a soft scoring touch around the basket. Olthoff has helped lead DV on a long win streak in January/February. Josh is a dominant post presence who demands your attention and this opens up everything else for the Lynx.

He is a mountain of a player and an old school post that will beat you up down low. I have been impressed with Olthoff’s post moves, footwork, and finishing ability. Josh is a tough and physical player but he can score with a soft touch. If you like physical/strong players, you will love Olthoff.

If you like old school posts, you will love Morgan! This season he averaged 9.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 2.3 apg, and shot a blistering 53.5 FG%. It is always nice to have a BIG that shoots a high percentage. Josh has great hands and feet. The best part is, Olthoff is not a black hole when he gets the rock. He is a willing passer out of the post and he makes others better. His strength, size, and effort make Josh a lane protector and a stout defender. He has solid moves with his back to the basket and he scores with a soft touch. Josh is not afraid of contact and he is physical on both ends. Expect Olthoff to be one of the best low post players in AA next year and for the Lynx to be one of the top teams in 2023-24.
