SMCA will feature some intriguing talent throughout their roster this season, many of which were picked up via transfer. Among the returners from the back-to-back MCST D1 State champs is Thornton, a 6’2″-6’3″ guard who could develop into a balanced, connective piece with his ability to make shots when open and improved playmaking awareness on drives. He guards his position well defensively and as he showed in Capitol Hoops Summer League play, rebounds at a nice rate for a combo guard.
