catches your attention with his shotmaking and distribution skills. He isn’t the type of player you want to leave unmarked on the outside, as he’ll cash in on quality chances. He also gives it up to his fellow shooters or forwards when they have a higher-percentage opportunity. His production on offense is solid, and he seems to be efficient.

comes in at #11 in my first edition of the 2029 rankings. On offense, he is both a facilitator and scorer. He has an ability to find the open guy, or he can call his own number and create a shot off the dribble. On defense, he looks to come up with deflections and steals. When he gets the chance, Contreras can push transition as well. All in all, there is a lot to like about his game and time will tell if he gets the call up to play on Palo Verde’s varsity team.

is a shifty guard that operates with pace. His court vision allows him to anticipate where help side defense is coming from, and he dishes out dimes on the regular. Contreras is also an efficient scorer who can drain triples, jumpers, and he gets to the free throw line. Defensively, he plays with a ton of energy and he likes to push transition after coming up with steals.
