I watched Morgan play last summer, fall and winter. And guess what? He got better each and every time. It’s exciting to think about where his game may end up when his senior season starts. The athletic 2 guard is a true multi level scorer that can get open in the flow of an offense, as well as create off the ball or with it.

I saw Morgan play a few times in fall ball and he looked ready to make a statement. He did just that in Lumen Christi’s big win. Morgan is a very athletic shooter. He can get shots off cleanly that would be tough for most. Morgan has long strides and the ability to adjust body position, that makes him dangerous when going downhill.

A couple week’s ago Morgan flashed with his shooting. This week it was his work off the ball and his defense that impressed me the most. Morgan moved without the ball and I saw it pay off with a cut-catch-score. He was quick and aggressive with the trap on defense and I saw that turn into a fast break bucket.

Morgan was a standout on that Sunday. He was able to turn the corner on defenders. The one that stood out was a righty take weaving through traffic that he got a bucket off of. Morgan had an impressive lefty finish and had a triple that he dribbled into. He also showed the ability to pass with an on target alley-oop pass.

Morgan is having himself a summer and fall and he showed out again at The Expo. I liked the pace he was able to play at, yet still be efficient. Morgan had a transition bucket in which he showed excellent ball control. He moved without the ball and it paid off for him on a cut, catch and score.

Morgan was very impressive at O3 last night. He showed off his shooting skills with a few catch and shoot 3’s from all around the arc. Morgan looked athletic as well, and he showed it with a high put back and a statement block of an opponents floater.

Morgan had an outstanding performance vs ABC Young Lions Sunday morning. Lengthy two-way guard had so much speed attacking the rim. Almost nothing getting in his way during this contest. Knocked down a 3-pointer late in a tight game. Then scored his 30th point of the contest to regain the lead on a fast break.
