Expert Analysis

John Millyard

Prep Hoops Scout

McGill is a confident playmaker with good skill and a strong motor. Advances the ball with poise and didn’t get pressured into making bad passes/turnovers. Has a skilled dribble and good burst of speed that helps him get by his opponents as he attacks the lane and makes the layup usually drawing the foul as he does. Shot from the perimeter well and pulled his mid-range off the dribble effectively. Showed he can defend the length of the court.

McGill plays with confidence and GRIT. Very strong motor. Showed a skilled handle and vision getting teammates involved. Has a good burst of speed to get by defenders when driving the lane. Shot from the perimeter well. Defensively showed to be a good on ball defender who can cover the length of the court. McGill has a high ceiling and could develop into a very solid point guard for the Caballeros.
