Jonah brings a strong motor and consistent effort, showing the ability to score at multiple levels. He’s a reliable shooter from beyond the arc with a quick release, deep range, and effectiveness in catch-and-shoot situations, while also being able to knock down tough shots and get to his spots. He handles the ball well to get to the rim, creates his own shot, and sees the floor effectively, with a solid mid-range game to round out his scoring ability.

I left Sunday impressed with 2 aspects of Jonah’s game. First, he plays really hard. Hard enough that he left a lasting impression on me with his motor. Also, Massey proved to be a gifted shooter. Most of his damage done on the offensive end was with his three point shooting.

Massey shot the ball well from mid and deep range off the dribble. He was decisive at getting to his spots for open looks and made difficult shots over defenders with poise. He shot accurately from 3-point range consistently on Saturday and Sunday. Scoring 20+ on jump shots and free throws in 2 games, he earned his way as one of the top performers.
