7/18/26: For a sophomore-to-be John’s footwork is excellent. He still has a long way to go, but that is to be expected for every big man at his age. The young man needs strength in a big way, but that too takes a lot longer for bigs to gain. He hit a faceup 8′ from the baseline very early against BMaze. He was sketchy when he put a dribble down because BMaze 15u doubled him right away. When he plays with patience and urgency, he is special. That is a big ask for young players. Great endurance and fitness. Tremendous offensive rebounder.
