Soper is a throwback post player who runs from the front of the rim on one end of the court to the front of the rim on the other end of the floor. He knows his role and plays it well. Soper has the physical strength and size to defend well near the basket, and he isn’t afraid to get on the floor for a loose ball or use his physicality to push opponents away from the hoop. Offensively, Soper does a nice job of catching and quickly getting the ball up off the glass for interior baskets. He finished with 15 points for Wisconsin Hoops Select – Winsor in its triumph over Chapman Basketball Academy South and is coming off a strong sophomore campaign at Argyle where he earned second-team all-Six Rivers East Conference recognition.

was on clean-up duty in the paint for Team 4. If there was a missed shot in his area, Joe was likely coming up with it. He did a great job of clearing out space with a box-out, and then attacking the ball with two hands off the rim. After an offensive rebound, Joe would keep the ball high and go right back up for a second chance bucket. The 6’5 center brought toughness to the floor for his team.
