-Will likely be one of our biggest risers in our rankings update, Legree also easily could’ve been in our shooter article. Legree can really fill it up in bunches, scoring with or without a ball screen effectively from all three levels. He plays with a physicality molded on the gridiron to not only shun shying away from contact but seeking it out, routinely making several trips to the free throw line in each game. Legree’s ability to hit tough shots off the bounce fading either direction makes him a tough cover in the BCL.

-Legree is a lights out scorer that already experienced a breakout season at Loyola Blakefield and will look to ride that positive momentum into a productive spring/summer on the circuit. You couldn’t catch this man in a phone booth. Legree utilizes a tight handle to make quick reads off the fly based off ball screen coverages. He can fill it up from beyond the arc, gets to the FT line, and can stop n pop with the best of them from the elbow. Legree should have a big senior season with the graduation of the program’s all-time leading scorer and several other big pieces in the backcourt.

Legree is an incredible spark plug for the Dons. Flamethrower from deep with a quick burst of a first step. Makes up for his size with his big-game ability. I enjoy seeing the way Jesse can come right into a game and find his spots immediately within the flow of the offense. His handle on the ball is smooth and shifty, allowing for him to get to any spot on the floor with regularity. Seems like he’s never rushed with the ball in his hands, making decisions in a split that leaves the defense short. Jesse is averaging a consistent 12 points a game up to this point on a team with some scoring talent from guard. The dual-sport athlete has found a nice role with Loyola this season that is sure to expand even more next season.

He’s an aggressive scoring guard prospect who provides a nice combination of motor, toughness, and perimeter shooting. Legree is a capable penetrator but is arguably at his best when hitting shots off the catch. He sets up others whenever possible and consistently outworks opponents defensively.
